Off to a Great Start 06/09/2010

After opening only about four weeks ago, we have received pleanty of positive feedback from our customers. Well-established websites like Yelp.com and Urbanspoon have been targeted as culinary rating powerhouses. Here are some quotes from a few of our loyal patrons:

"A group of friends and I dined at Roux on a friday evening and we were all very impressed. I live in Roswell and have been looking for a good place to get good oysters for a while (Hooters doesn't count as either) and was pleasantly surprised. The prices were fair especially on the oyster specials (Chesapeake oysters for 14$ a dozen!). Service was good and the food was great including a cobia special that was one of the best pieces of fish I've ever had at any inland restaurant. Around 1030 or so Roux shifted from a very warm restaurant to a very casual and inviting bar atmosphere just as anywhere on Canton street does. Our party decided to stay for a few after dinner drinks and dessert and found both the wine and beer selection very unique and very good. Their selection of craft bottled beers was varied and unique and you wont find their draughts anywhere else in Roswell (Try the Andy Gator). Over all 4.5 out of five stars, the only reason it's not a five is it's decoration leaves a little bit wanting (but it's a restaurant, don't worry about it)."

"Roux was amazing! I've been there twice now since it opened. The shrimp and grits are amazing and the flash fried gator is a great starter. I'll definetly be going there again!"

"A taste of NOLA to the Roswell square with its Cajun ways.  Roux On Canton was spectacular.  Me and my lady friend went for dinner and had a little bit of everything.  A good selection of small plates, which is always good, and really really fresh gulf coast oysters for being so far away from the gulf coast.  The shrimp n' grits were extremely tasty, the gator bites (maybe called something different) with roumalade (I cant spell) sauce were also insane.  And I love oysters.  So I had to top it off with a dozen oyster.  Everything was superb.  Food came out quick, friendly place and good wine selection.  I give it an A+ for round 1."
