The Bramblett Family
With seeds sown generations before them, the Bramblett's have witnessed the fruit of their family's labor over the past century. Mike and Peggy Bramblett are the parents of Zachary, the owner of newly opened Roux on Canton. They are both Atlanta natives who have propitiously run various small businesses in Greater Atlanta for the past 35 years. Channeling their inherent entrepreneurial spirit, this pair has taken Canton Street by storm for nearly two decades, long before it gained popularity. Before the creation of each thriving restaurant, the duo owned and operated two boutiques in downtown Roswell. In 2001, the Bramblett's became restaurateurs starting with Magnolia Cafe. Four years later, their second restaurant "946 South" opened its doors. Following closely behind their parents, the next generation (Trent and Mikka) later opened Ceviche, a taqueria and margarita bar. It was only a matter of time before their fourth child Zachary would join in on the family business. Roux on Canton, a seafood and oyster bar, launched its new concept in May of 2010. Mike and Peggy maintain the family dynamic by actively participating in the daily operation of both Ceviche and Roux.
Zachary Bramblett (Owner/Operator)
Zachary Bramblett was born and raised in Roswell and graduated from Roswell High School in 2004 with the intentions of eventually owning his own restaurant. After graduation and a few years helping manage his family's restaurants, Zachary moved to Maui, Hawaii to channel his inner passion for travel. During his six-month stay, Zachary acquired an acute taste for seafood and an appreciation for its many intricacies. Less than a year later, Zachary spent a month in Capetown, South Africa and Mozambique that furthered his understanding of different cultures and cuisine. Joining forces with Taylor Neary upon his return, he was able to use his depth of experience to help create the vision for Roux. Zachary is thankful for his family's business ventures such as Magnolia Cafe, 946 South and Ceviche for giving him the edge that will help set Roux apart from the other restaurants in downtown Roswell.
